Behavioral Research
The American Alsatian gives us a unique opportunity to explore the mechanics of a companion dog's temperament.
This STRONGBRED Dog is a completely documented Project in Canine Temperament -
American Alsatians have a Comapnion Dogs temperament. BRTA studies the details of this Specific Genre of dog breeds.
Our research will assist future breeders and trainers of American Alsatians to reach their goal of "Hard Wired" Service Dogs with "Hard Wired" Health.
The other but equally important aspect of developing the American Alsatian is a HouseHold pet for the American Public sound in health and behavior. This goal is centered on Changing the way pet dogs are bred through example. The Public should insist dogs of ALL genres be bred in this manner. The result should produce dogs that have no need to be reliquished to humane society shelters. The Service a pet dog can be bred for involves the ability to easily meld to it's environment. To be aware and be born with a natural "taboo" against biting, barking, digging and chewing. The science of temperament selection of the American Alsatian is a broad but base focus for the BRTA.
CAAC BRTA will study the progression of the developement companion temperament through the years of outcrosses using mainly working dogs. American Alsatian Breeders are versed and educated by a center instution in the specific science. BRTA engages in the continuing education of this breeder network. BRTA focuses information for breeders, provided to further their soundness of health in the breed. Behavior and Physiology in the canine are interchangable subjects.

CAAC Member RESEARCH SHARE - Subject #1-
.I'm deciding that I know enough horror stories of pet dogs eating poisonous plants to decide that I KNOW Canis Familiarius has for the most part lost its ability to discern. Wild Canines know. Is it nature or nuture? Has domesticating the canine done it? Are there breeds or categories of breeds that are more suseptible to this ignorance? Is there a commanality of body shape or what they were used for? I would like to know these things - because I would like to be able to see if genetically having a companion temperament means less of this or more? Can this be canceled out through a totally natural Body structure?
