Our Purpose:

 

 To study, teach, judge, promote and disseminate principles and information on the subject and art of breeding, training, showing and educating its members and the public concerning the breed of companion dog known as the American Alsatian.




Our responsibility to our members:

 

 

The CAAC strives to provide its members with a platform to enjoy their American Alsatians in public. We offer training, publications, events and gatherings and little or no cost to its members.

 

 

 

Colorado American Alsatian Club is inclusive of the National American Alsatian Club and the Dire Wolf Project, and will participate in national events.

has its facility near Denver Colorado, training American Alsatians for therapy and service work. Each dog will be assessed for their unique abilities and we will build upon their individual strengths to determine which therapy/service dog training they will receive.


Training Fields & Trainers

 

The Colorado American Alsatian Club has recognized a need and an avenue for training the American Alsatian in Companion Dog work.Some examples are:
Drafting & Packing- carrying the laundry - library books, school supplies - to the required location for the elderly or disabled.
Mark Hits - Turning lights on and off. Brining the remote or phone. Hitting switches
Back Country Dog - packing in back country off trail and camping. personal protection specifically for woodland environment.-  recall off wildlife - don't chase wildlife - territory displacement - pack & hauling
All manners of therapy work with Autistic children, disabled and or visualy or hearing impaired, the emotionally challenged
